The Rome edition of Italian Arbitration Day-IAD 2026 will take place in the Sala della Protomoteca in Campidoglio.
Campidoglio, the religious centre of the old City, today is the seat of the City Council in the Palazzo Senatorio since 1143.
Piazza del Campidoglio is Michelangelo’s Renaissance masterpiece, with its characteristic elliptical paving and the Cordonata staircase.
At the centre of the square stands a copy of the equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius, while the original is preserved in the Capitoline Museums, the oldest public museum in the world.
The terrace of the Sala della Protomoteca offers one of the most beautiful views of the Foro Romano.

L’edizione di quest’anno dell’Italian Arbitration Day-IAD 2026 si terrà nella Sala della Protomoteca in Campidoglio.
Il Campidoglio, centro religioso dell’antica Roma, è sede del Comune dal 1143.
Piazza del Campidoglio è un capolavoro rinascimentale di Michelangelo, con la sua caratteristica pavimentazione ellittica e la scalinata della Cordonata.
Al centro della piazza si trova una copia della statua equestre di Marco Aurelio, il cui originale è custodito nei Musei Capitolini, il museo pubblico più antico nel mondo. Dalla terrazza della Sala della Protomoteca si gode di una delle più belle viste sul Foro Romano.
